Crystal Weston, LSW, Master Intern

About Me

Hello my name is Crystal,

I am a master level intern and I’m currently in my final graduate year at Northwest Nazarene University in social work. I am a licensed bachelor level social worker. My specialty is working with a parent, married or single, or families, who are expecting or who have children under the age of 3 in the home. I have a passion working with children of all ages that have disabilities and being able to find resources or assist the parents through a difficult event in their life.

I am married to a marvelous outspoken husband and living the “empty-nester life”. We have three wonderful adult children and three grandsons. We like to go camping and riding 4-wheelers. I also enjoy crafts, planning parties of any kind, baking, baking, and more baking.

My heart is full of joy and I tend to share positivity to those who are willing to accept the change. Change is hard, but walking through the darkness to get to the light is never easy unless you have internal strength.

Therapeutic preferences

Cognitive-behavioral (CBT), Motivational Interviewing with mindfulness, coaching parent-child therapy approaches, and Dialectic behavior (DBT).

I have loved coming to Middleton Counseling. After having a bad experience with my first counselor, coming here was a great relief. They are so kind and friendly and I always feel safe and comfortable talking to them.

Middleton counseling has been very helpful and easy to work with. I had a session of the accelerated resolution therapy had have been pleased with the out come. Highly recommend.

A wonderful experience. I enjoy going there.
